God has blessed us with individuals who have a heart for prison ministry.  Michael Chisolm leads our team that ministers to the Hwy 15 Detention Center at different times throughout the year.  This team will lead worship, share a message, and pray for the individuals at the DC.  They also deliver Bible-based literature to the DC.  If you would like to become a part of this ministry, please contact Michael at 318.497.0891. 

The Start Baptist Church Prison Ministry is open to anyone interested in sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ.  It is a ministry for men and women and we need a few more women helpers.  If you have a heart for missions and are looking for a blessing, this ministry would absolutely bless you in so many ways.
