The Women's Ministry at Start Baptist is open to all women who desire to participate in fellowship, study and service. Our vision is for the Women's Ministry to grow and expand as more ladies join our efforts in ministering to the needs of women in our church and community. Brenda Trisler and Carmen Howard coordinate this ministry which includes meeting the needs of others in our community, showing unconditional love, visitation and other caring ministries. If you feel called to become a part of this ministry, contact Brenda at 728-3692 or Carmen at 728-7720.
Prayer Warriors Ministry
Coordinator Pearl Wynn meets with her ministry team each Tuesday evening at 5:00 to pray for our church and its ministries. If you are interested in becoming a Prayer Warrior, contact Pearl at 728-3225.
Publications Ministry
If you are interested in designing and printing invitations or helping publish a women's quarterly newsletter, contact Beth White at 728-0655.
Drama Ministry
This ministry puts together dramas and skits emphasizing the various events of the Women's Ministry. To become a part of this ministry, contact Iris Shoemaker at 728-2521.
New Member Shepherding Ministry
This ministry is designed to help women new to our fellowship connect and feel more a part of our church. Co-coordinators are Patsy Johnson and Beverly Weeks. If you feel led to become a part of this ministry, call Patsy at 728-7858 or Beverly at 728-5202.
Hospitality Ministry
Coordinating the hospitality activities of the Women's Ministry are Bessie Temple and Pat Weston. This ministry seeks to aid in the cultivation of relationships through a variety of activities. If you are interested in serving with Bessie and Pat, call Bessie at 728-5763 or Pat at 728-6617.
Spiritual Growth Ministry
Dianne Letlow is the coordinator for this ministry. Through a variety of Bible studies, conferences, retreats, workshops and discipleship opportunities, this ministry seeks to enhance the spiritual beauty of women. To get involved in this ministry, call Dianne at 728-6302.
Music Ministry
This ministry coordinator is Melissa Drake. Melissa will be planning and selecting the music for our events. This ministry will strive to enhance our worship of the Lord through uplifting and inspirational music. If you wish to be involved in this ministry, contact Melissa at 728-4914.
Mission Field of Dreams
Wanda Sharbono is coordinating this ministry. Many women have dreams of being able to minister and share the gospel on a mission field outside of our community. This hands-on ministry helps us to go and share Christ's love through our actions. If you desire to become a part of this ministry, contact Wanda at 728-6733.
Young Advisory Team
The Young Advisory Team will be assisting and coordinating in all phases of the different ministry teams. Contact Christina Colvin at 728-0938, April Moss at 728-7488, Kristin Parker at 728-6457, or Mandy Smart at 728-7317, if you desire to join this young, vibrant group of women.
